Sāmya Donation Refund Policy

We take great care in processing donations according to the instructions provided by our donors, both online and offline. In the unlikely event of an erroneous donation or if a donor wishes to cancel their donation, we will respond to the donor within 7 working days upon receiving a valid refund request.

The timely refund of the donation depends on the type of credit card or banking instrument used during the transaction. To request a refund, the donor must submit a written request within 2 days of making the donation to Sāmya's official address or via email to donorservice@sāmya.org. The refund request should include proof of the deducted donation amount.

If a donation receipt has already been issued, the donor must return the original receipt to our office. Please note that if a tax exemption certificate has already been issued, we will not be able to refund the donation, except in cases where the refund request is due to an error on our part. In such cases, we will refund the donation and bear the associated costs.

For international donations, the refund process may take a minimum of 10 days.
