We feed 300+ people every day, twice a day in Mumbai. See our programs.
"Sāmya" is a Sanskrit word that means balance, equality, or equilibrium. The name "Sāmya" embodies the core values of Podar, that of promoting social equality, balancing societal needs, and striving for harmony in communities. We are committed to creating a balanced and equitable society. By providing nutritious meals, this initiative uplifts communities in Mumbai and brings hope to those in need.
Our mission is simple: to break the cycle of poverty by providing wholesome meals to the homeless communities in India.
To use meal programs as a tool to build immunity and improve health for a brighter future to end hunger.

Our vision at Sāmya is to create a world where every individual has access to nutritious food and can lead a life of dignity.
We envision a society where no one goes to bed hungry and every person has the capacity to feed themselves with respect and autonomy.
Our goal is aligned with the UN SDGs – Goal 2 – Zero Hunger – End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture.
Our core belief is that nobody should experience hunger, and every person should have access to nourishing food.
We believe that nourishing meals offer a foundation for better health and the opportunity to thrive.
We prioritize reducing food waste, eco-friendly initiatives, and sustainability in our practices.

We’re working hard to get good food to those who need it most.
Your donation will help someone who is struggling to feed themselves and their family.
